BALLISTIC SHIELDS
Ballistic shields are designed to provide maximum protection and manoeuvrability. Medium and
large size shields feature an armoured observation window to provide optimum visibility and
protection.
Research and detailed testing on the effects of pressure, fragmentation, ballistic and body impact
have resulted in the development of highly cost-effective shields that are now used by Police
SWAT teams, Special Forces and EOD professionals in many countries worldwide.
BALLISTIC COMBAT HELMET
The new Ballistic Combat Helmet utilises the most up-to-date advanced hybrid
composite technolgy in a unique sandwich construction system. This method of
construction eliminates delamination of the ballistic matrix, thus providing a superb
multi-hit performance with very low back face deformation.
COMBINED BALLISTIC/STAB VEST
The Combined Ballistic/Stab Vest has been developed from a new advanced composite textile that makes the vest both thin, lightweight and very flexible .
The vest is armoured to international recognised law enforcement standards for both ballistic and stab protection and is designed to be worn covertly under a shirt for extended period without causing discomfort. It provides full protection for the front, side and back.

Iraq and is designed with ballistic and fragmentation trauma in mind.
DNA PERSONAL ALARM
Each DNA Personal Alarm has, in addition to a loud siren alarm, a different and unique DNA code, combined with an ultra-violet identifier spray which clings to the attacker's skin and clothing to provide Police with a positive DNA link to a crime. No two personal alarms have the same DNA code.

For a higher level of protection the VIP Protection Vest can be up-armoured with the addition of
ceramic plates which will prevent damage from high velocity bullets.

sizes and weighs from 1.2kg.
BULLET-RESISTANT ASSAULT JACKET
The SDMS Bullet-Resistant Assault Jacket is a high technology sleeveless outer jacket
which is based on the standard NATO design and provides a very high level of protection
from a wide range of small arms attack on the front, back and sides.
The Assault Jacket can be used for a wide variety of applications and allows for up-armouring,
with the use of ceramic plates inserted into pockets built into the front and back of the jacket, to meet
particular threats. With the use of a CCP3 ceramic plate, for example, the Assault Jacket can
be up-armoured to meet the threat of AK47 and NATO 7.62 mm armour-piercing ammunition, an
ever-increasing threat.
DISPOSABLE NBC PROTECTIVE SUIT
The NBC Protective Suit was developed for the military to offer total body protection
against battlefield contamination. This suit ensures protection against all chemical
warfare agents.
The Disposable NBC Protective Suit consists of a two-piece protective suit comprising of a
blouse and trousers. The blouse has a cut-out contoured hood, which fits any mask and a quick
fastner for easy closing.
FACE GUARD
The New Face Guard offers the wearer protection against fragments and low velocity handgun rounds. Extremely simple in concept and easily donned and doffed, it is a flexible, lightweight and versatile item. One size fits all. Face Guard can be used with a combat helmet and visor and provides protection to the front and side area of the face and throat. It is very lightweight, typically 400 grams (14oz) @500m/sec, but can be offered with a V50 protection of up to 610m/sec. Manufactured from user-friendly material, the Face Guard comes in a choice of colours and camouflage patterns.
